Part type · Enclosures
Junction boxes, instrument cases and rated enclosures — folded and welded sheet metal built to your size, sealing and hardware needs.
An enclosure is more than a box — it has to seal to a rating, dissipate heat, mount its contents and look right. We build them from folded and welded sheet metal in the material and finish the environment calls for.

Design notes
- Decide the sealing rating early — it drives seam and gasket design.
- Add ventilation or heat-sink features where electronics dissipate heat.
- For electronics with EMI needs, see electronics enclosures.
Built from laser-cut, bent and welded sheet, finished in-house.
Frequently asked questions
What IP or NEMA rating can you reach?
The rating comes from construction, not just the box: gasket channels, sealed seams, and the right hardware. We design to a target IP54/IP65/IP66 or NEMA rating and confirm the construction needed during DFM.
What materials are best for enclosures?
Aluminum for light weight and thermal performance, mild steel (powder coated) for cost, and stainless for harsh or washdown environments. The environment and weight target decide the choice.
Can you add cutouts, printing and hardware?
Yes — connector and display cutouts, silkscreen or laser-etched legends, and pressed-in PEM hardware are all done in-house as part of the build.
Do you make custom sizes?
Yes, enclosures are built to your dimensions from a drawing; there is no fixed catalog size, and low volumes are welcome.
