Most sourcing problems come from unclear specs, an unvetted supplier, or no quality plan — not from China itself. These guides cover each of those, and apply directly to the CNC machining and fabrication work we do. The short version: define the part on a drawing with only the critical tolerances called out, confirm you are talking to the actual factory rather than a trading layer, agree an inspection plan in writing before production, and settle Incoterms and packing up front. Get those four right and sourcing from China is predictable; skip any one and that is usually where the surprise comes from.
